Het originele Wembley Stadion was een stadion in Wembley Park, Londen, dat het beste bekend staat om het hosten van belangrijke voetbalwedstrijden. Het stond op dezelfde plek die nu wordt bezet door zijn opvolger.
Wembley organiseerde jaarlijks de FA Cup finale, de eerste in 1923, wat het inaugurale evenement was, de League Cup finale jaarlijks, vijf Europese Cup finals, de Wereldbekerfinale van 1966, en de finale van Euro 96. De Braziliaanse voetballer Pelé zei ooit over het stadion: "Wembley is de kathedraal van het voetbal. Het is de hoofdstad van het voetbal en het is het hart van het voetbal", ter erkenning van zijn status als het bekendste voetbalstadion ter wereld.
