Det oprindelige Wembley Stadium var et stadion i Wembley Park, London, bedst kendt for at være vært for vigtige fodboldkampe. Det stod på det samme sted, som nu er besat af dets efterfølger.
Wembley var vært for FA Cup-finalen årligt, den første i 1923, som var dets indvielsesbegivenhed, League Cup-finalen årligt, fem europæiske cupfinaler, verdensmesterskabet i 1966 og finalen i Euro 96. Den brasilianske fodboldspiller Pelé sagde engang om stadionet: "Wembley er fodboldens katedral. Det er fodboldens hovedstad, og det er fodboldens hjerte", som anerkendelse af dets status som verdens mest kendte fodboldstadion.
