Livade va rebre el títol de ' centre mundial de la tòfona'.
La vall del riu Mirna a Istria, especialment Livade, acull la famosa tòfona d'Istria. Aquest petit poble de l'interior de la península continua atraient cada cop més gent, sobretot des que el Sr. Giancarlo Zigante va trobar la tòfona més gran coneguda del món, que pesava 1.310 kg , i va entrar al Llibre Guinness dels Rècords com l'exemple més gran de la història. Aquest notable esdeveniment va tenir lloc el novembre de 1999 i va valer a Livade el títol de centre mundial de la tòfona.
El trobador té ara el seu propi restaurant, Zigante, i una botiga associada, més coneguda per les seves preparacions i productes de tòfona.
Livade és també el punt final de l'etapa més bonica Parenzana Grožnjan - Livade al llarg de l'antiga línia de ferrocarril de Parenzana , avui una ruta de senderisme i bicicleta molt coneguda.
