República Soviètica Hongaresa fou el nom amb què es conegué Hongria mentre va ser governada per la unió del Partit Socialdemòcrata i el Partit Comunista, entre el 21 de març i el 4 d'agost de 1919.
Aquest estat no va ser reconegut ni per França, ni pel Regne Unit, ni pels Estats Units. Fou el primer govern comunista format a Europa després que la Revolució d'Octubre russa atorgués el poder als bolxevics.
