La Capella de Sant Pere és la capella de l'Apòstol que cita el pecat de negació , que va haver de ser construïda al mateix temps que la capella anterior per alguns devots.
A la part superior del buit del barret es troba la inscripció de Lucas: << ET EGRESSUS FO/RAS PETRUS FLEVIT/AMARE », traduït com: << i en marxar-se, Pedro va plorar amargament».
La capella representa les tres negacions de Pere davant Jesucrist (inclosa l' escena del gall ), en què Pere va plorar profundament per haver negat el seu senyor. Va plorar profusament i el seu rostre es va omplir de llàgrimes.
També al costat de la paret d'aquesta capella hi ha l'escut d'armes del Sr. Jorge da Costa i la inscripció:
<< ARMES. DE LA CAPELLA IA / QUE EL / SR. D. JORGE DA COSTA AR / BISBE DE BRAGA MANDO CONSTRUIR EL 1494, VAN SER TROBADES DURANT LES EXCAVACIONS / DELS FONAMENTS D'AQUESTA OBRA EN / 1839 AMB L'IL (ustrissi) MO / JOAQUIM DA MOTTA CAR.
