La Capilla de San Pedro es la capilla del Apóstol que cita el pecado de negación , que tuvo que ser construida al mismo tiempo que la capilla anterior por algunos devotos.
En la parte superior del hueco del sombrero se encuentra la inscripción de Lucas: << ET EGRESSUS FO/RAS PETRUS FLEVIT/AMARE », traducido como: << y al marcharse, Pedro lloró amargamente ».
La capilla representa las tres negaciones de Pedro ante Jesucristo (incluida la escena del gallo ), en las que Pedro lloró profundamente por haber negado a su señor. Lloró profusamente y su rostro se llenó de lágrimas.
También junto a la pared de esta capilla se encuentran el escudo de armas de D. Jorge da Costa y la inscripción:
<< ARMAS. DE LA CAPILLA IA / QUE EL / SR. D. JORGE DA COSTA AR / OBISPO DE BRAGA MANDÓ CONSTRUIR EN 1494, FUERON ENCONTRADAS DURANTE LAS EXCAVACIONES / DE LOS CIMIENTOS DE ESTA OBRA EN / 1839 CON EL IIL (ustrissi) MO / JOAQUIM DA MOTTA CAR / DOS ABAD DE MAXIMINOS COMO PRESIDENTE ».
