Bischofshofen) er en by i distriktet St. Johann im Pongau i den østrigske delstat Salzburg. Det er en vigtig trafikknudepunkt beliggende både på Salzburg-Tyrol jernbanelinje og ved Tauern Autobahn, en hovedvej, der krydser hovedkæden af Alperne. Bischofshofen ligger i de nordlige kalkstensalper, i dalen af Salzach-floden, omkring 50 km syd for delstatshovedstaden Salzburg. Den er omgivet af Hochkönig-massivet mod vest, en del af Berchtesgaden Alperne, Tennen-bjergene i nordøst og Salzburg Skifer-alperne i sydøst.
