Taxenbach er en købstad med 2.711 indbyggere i Salzburg-regionen i distriktet Zell am See i Østrig. Det var sæde for Taxenbach byret. Kommunen ligger i Pinzgau i Salzburg-regionen midt i Salzach-dalen ved udgangen af Raurisdalen. Indtil slutningen af 2002 tilhørte kommunen Taxenbach retskredsen; siden 2003 har den været en del af Zell am See retskredsen.
