Hotel Bristol er et femstjernet hotel på Makartplatz 4 i den gamle bydel til højre for Salzach i Salzburg. Hotellet tilhører UNESCOs verdensarv Historisk centrum af byen Salzburg.
Erkebiskop Paris Lodron fik her omkring 1619 opført et bypalæ for adelen. Den fra Mattighofen stammende bankmand Karl Leitner købte i 1886 grunden til det nuværende Hotel Bristol og opførte der et kalorisk og mos-drevet kraftværk til strømforsyning af udvalgte virksomheder i Salzburg. Dette blev som det første elværk i det østrig-ungarske monarki sat i drift den 13. oktober 1887. I 1894 blev elværket først til det, der blev kaldt Electrizitäts-Hotel på grund af sin elektriske belysning, og i 1907 blev det til Hotel Bristol. Hotellet var i besiddelse af bysamfundet Salzburg og fik ved hotelåbningen sin nuværende facade.
