Mauthausen er en kommune i den østrigske delstat Oberøstrig, beliggende i distriktet Perg. Kommunen har cirka 4850 indbyggere.
Mauthausen har et areal på 14 km². Kommunen ligger i den nordlige del af Østrig, i den østlige del af delstaten Oberøstrig. Mauthausen er især kendt på grund af koncentrationslejren, der lå i nærheden af stedet under Anden Verdenskrig.
