Fæstningen Hohensalzburg er en fuldt omkranset stenskæde, der hæver sig højt over den østrigske by Salzburg, på toppen af Festungsberg. Med en længde på 250 meter og en bredde på 150 meter er det et af de største middelalderlige slotte i Europa.
Hohensalzburg blev bygget på bestilling af og i århundreder beboet af ærkebiskopperne af Salzburg. Byggeriet begyndte i 1077. I 1462 blev fæstningen forstærket med fire tårne. Fæstningen blev flere gange yderligere forstærket, men siden midten af det 17. århundrede har der ikke været nogen storstilede ændringer.
