Getreidegasse er den mest kendte gade i Salzburg. På nummer 9 blev den berømte komponist Mozart født, og han boede der indtil han var sytten år gammel. Gaden blev kaldt Trabgasse i 1150. Det nuværende navn betyder bogstaveligt talt Kornsneg, men navnet refererer til dialekten "trabig", som betyder hurtigt. Siden 1509 er der kommet flere og flere handlende, og således er det blevet en shoppinggade.
