Description

Rådhuset i Westerlo. Slottet af grevinde Jeanne de Merode blev opført i 1910 i den Brabantiske-gotiske stil fra det 16. århundrede. Det blev bygget efter plan af den Leuveniske arkitekt Langerock. Under Anden Verdenskrig blev slottet beslaglagt af tyskerne. Senere blev det brugt som hvilehjem for ældre præster. I 1972 købte kommunen slottet og indrettede det som rådhus og som kulturcenter.
