Municipio di Westerlo. Il castello della contessa Jeanne de Merode è stato costruito nel 1910 nello stile gotico brabantino del XVI secolo. È stato progettato dall'architetto di Lovanio Langerock. Durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, il castello è stato occupato dai tedeschi. In seguito è servito come casa di riposo per sacerdoti anziani. Nel 1972 il comune ha acquistato il castello e lo ha trasformato in municipio e centro culturale.
