Oprindeligt stod sognekirken på Kirkegade. Sankt Kristofferkapellet der - resterne af den kirke, der blev nedrevet i begyndelsen af det 20. århundrede - rummer stadig korret fra det 16. århundrede. I 1906 blev den nuværende kirke bygget. Den er en murstens, neogotisk basilika, designet af Mathieu Christiaens. Som dekoration er der tilføjet horisontale, sandstensbånd. Udover to kvadratiske sektioner har tårnet en ottekantet tredje sektion, og det krone af en spids, der er dækket med skifer.
