La Louvière er en fransktalende by i Belgien. Den ligger i Vallonien i provinsen Hainaut. Byen La Louvière blev oprettet ved adskillelse fra kommunen Saint-Vaast, officielt underskrevet og besluttet ved lov den 10. april 1869. La Louvière er et resultat af den industrielle revolution; det er faktisk udviklingen af de tungindustri, der har ført til dens udvidelse og dens oprettelse som en særskilt kommune.
