Sart-Saint-Laurent er en landsby i Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse på vejen fra Namur til Châtelet. I dag er den en del af Fosses-la-Ville i provinsen Namur. Det var en selvstændig kommune før sammenlægningen af kommunerne i 1977.
Beliggende i kanten af skoven Haute Marlagne blev stedet ryddet og afbrændt af tømmerfolk, især i begyndelsen af det 12. århundrede, da opførelsen af Floreffe-abbediet af den hellige Norbert,hjulpet af Hugues de Fosses, i 1221, krævede meget træ.
