Molenbeersel er en kirke landsby og del kommune i den belgisk-limburgske grænsekommune Kinrooi. Det ligger syd for kommunen Weert. Den ældste kendte omtale af landsbyen Beersel stammer fra den 12. maj 1299. På denne dag blev der af abbedisse Jutta af Henneberg fra Thorn kloster indgået en anden sammenligning vedrørende tienderne til Haler og "Beersele", to husmandssteder i klosterfyrstendømmet Thorn. Senere findes der forskellige stavemåder: Bijersel, Bersell, Biersel, Beersel, Berselle, Beersell, Meulenbeersel, Moelenbeersel, Molen-beersel, Molenbeersel.
