Stedet tilhører den såkaldte Platdietske region. Landskabeligt og geografisk tilhører Hendrik-Kapelle Plateauet af Herve / Landet af Herve. Lige vest for bebyggelsen, i højden af vandtårnet, ligger det højeste punkt i Hendrik-Kapelle og Plateauet af Herve. Her står man 354 meter over TAW og har udsigt over Ardennerne mod syd, dalen af Berwijn og Maasbassinet i nordvest, over Limburgs Højland mod nord, over Trelandspunktet mod nordøst og over Eifel mod sydøst.
