Il luogo appartiene alla cosiddetta regione di Platdietse. Dal punto di vista paesaggistico e geografico, Hendrik-Kapelle appartiene al Plateau di Herve/Paeisaggio di Herve. Appena a ovest dell'area urbanizzata, all'altezza del serbatoio dell'acqua, si trova il punto più alto di Hendrik-Kapelle e del Plateau di Herve. Qui si è a 354 metri sopra il TAW e si ha una vista sulle Ardenne a sud, sulla valle del Berwijn e sul bacino della Mosa a nord-ovest, sulla regione collinare del Limburgo a nord, sul Punto Trilocale a nord-est e sull'Eifel a sud-est.
