El lugar pertenece a la denominada región de Platdietse. Desde el punto de vista paisajístico y geográfico, Hendrik-Kapelle forma parte de la meseta de Herve/Tierra de Herve. Justo al oeste del núcleo urbano, a la altura del tanque de agua, se encuentra el punto más alto de Hendrik-Kapelle y de la meseta de Herve. Aquí se está a 354 metros sobre el TAW y se tiene vistas sobre las Ardenas al sur, el valle del Berwijn y la cuenca del Mosa al noroeste, sobre el Heuvelland limburgués al norte, sobre el punto de los tres países al noreste y sobre la Eifel al sureste.
