Stavele er en landsby i Westhoek, beliggende ved IJser. Siden 1977 har det været en delkommune af den belgiske kommune Alveringem. Stavele har et areal på 12,63 km² og havde i 2008 660 indbyggere.
Stavele blev første gang nævnt i 1110 som Stafala, germansk for skov på høj sandgrund. Godset var en af de vigtigere i Veurne-Ambacht. Indtil 1715 var herrerne af Stavele, som indtil 1525 også tilhørte Stavele-slægten, burggrev af Veurne.
