Hamont-Achel er en skovrig kommune i den yderste nordlige del af provinsen Limburg, i Kempen i Belgien. Kommunen tilhører valgkredsen og retteregionen Neerpelt. Hamont-Achel opstod i 1977 ved sammenlægning af kommunerne Hamont og Achel. I 1985 fik den nye kommune sine byrettigheder og bytitel fra tidligere tilbage; dette medførte, at flaget og våbnet for den nye kommune blev indført. Achel havde en station Achel på jernbanelinje 18 fra 1866 til 1946 for passagerer og til 1973 for gods.
