Slottet blev bygget i begyndelsen af det 19. århundrede af burggraaf François Guillaume de Pattin, skatmester af Den Gyldne Fleece. I slottet, der blev ombygget til rådhus, og som har været i brug siden 1959, pryder våbenskjoldene af de adelsfamilier, der dengang besatte bygningen. Dette er de eneste rester, der i fremtiden vil vidne om ejendommens oprindelse.
