Opwijk er en by og kommune i den belgiske provins Vlaams-Brabant. Kommunen ligger i den nordvestlige del af provinsen og har siden 1977 været en fusionskommune med Mazenzele. Opwijk har over 14.741 indbyggere. Nabokommunerne er: Asse, Merchtem, Aalst, Buggenhout og Lebbeke. Opwijk var i middelalderen en del af herredømmet Dendermonde, og i 1355 blev det et allod af Grevskabet Flandern. Først mange århundreder senere skulle det blive en del af Brabant, hvilket betyder, at det nu ligger i Vlaams-Brabant.
