Naturområdet Den Bunt ligger i et hjørne, der dannes af Schelde og Durme. Det 18 hektar store domænskov Driegoten strækker sig fra foden af Scheldedijk, mellem De Pillecyn-monumentet og den lille by Driegoten. Den i Hamme fødte og opvokset forfatter Filip De Pillecyn lod sig inspirere af sin fødeegn i sine romaner 'Færgemanden og jomfruen' og 'Mennesker bag diger'.
