Vand slot med næsten rektangulær grundplan og udvidelse mod vest for donjon; bygninger opført omkring et firkantet indre gård. Mod nord for indre gård, boligvertikaler med indbygget donjon, øvrige sider optaget af gallerier med centralt portbygning. Mod sydøst, ved omvandringen, L-formet (oprindeligt langstrakt) gård. Slottet omringes af kulturland og skovområde mod nord. En allé på cirka 1 kilometer, i aksen af kirkens tårn, forbinder slottet med Kapelgade.
