Fort af anden orden, udført til fuldendelse af hovedforsvarslinjen for byen og fastsat ved lov af 30. marts 1906. Hensigten var at beskytte byen Antwerpen mod et artilleribombardement. Arbejdet begyndte i 1908 og blev afsluttet i 1914. I 1939 forbundet med antitankgraven. Efter Anden Verdenskrig brugt af demineringstjenesten fra det belgiske militær og degraderet ved regentskabsbeslutning af 2. april 1947. Den militære myndighed solgte fortet i 1970, og det er nu i brug som jagtområde.
