Beliggende i skyggen af basilikaen ligger haven fra det tidligere retrætehus midt i byens kerne. I parken finder du også et slot, hvor mentalt og fysisk handicappede bor. De driver butikken “De Winkelpoort”. Der kan du købe friske mejeriprodukter, marmelade, chokolade, gavekasser, kort og produkter fra Oxfam-verdensbutik.
