Teglværket har været i drift siden 1946 og er stadig i hænderne på familien Hove. Form- og bagningprocessen har ikke ændret sig i de sidste 50 år, da tests med moderne teknikker ikke bragte nogen forbedring. Da facadestenene stadig tørrer i fri luft, arbejdes der kun i sommerperioden.
