På den sydlige side af Lakvejen er en klynge af bygninger fra American Petroleum Company bevaret, som tilhører de ældste og mest interessante i Petroleum Syd. Bemærkelsesværdigt er det, at en del af bygningsmassen på dette sted har overlevet den brand, der næsten fuldstændigt ødelagde Petroleum Syd i 1904.
