Den botaniske have ved Arboretum Kalmthout har eksisteret i mere end halvandet århundrede. Oprindeligt var det et familieforetagende, der flyttede fra Antwerpen til Kalmthout. De nuværende plantekollektioner omfatter især træer, buske og prydplanter. Udover indsamlingen af nye planter får det videnskabelige og pædagogiske aspekt en stadig vigtigere rolle.
