Het Zoute er den østligste del af stedet Knokke og dermed også den østligt beliggende badeby i Belgien.
Historisk set lå der en smal klitstripe ved havet. Derudover var der de indre klitter. Imellem lå et områd med lavvandet, hvor får græssede. Lidt dybere inde i landet lå små bosættelser med enkelte gårde, som til sidst ville give anledning til Knokke.
