Centralt beliggende i den lille landsby, klassicistisk salekirke. Houtem fik ved hjælp af Ter Kameren klosteret allerede meget tidligt et eget kapel, beliggende ved vejen til Vilvoorde, som det fremgår af klosterets kortbog fra 1719. I 1775 blev et nyt kapel, den nuværende kirke, bygget under abbedisse Serafina Snoys ledelse, hvis våbenskjold blev bevaret over korindgangen.
