Syv kæmpe store trolde - nogle travlt optaget, andre slapper af efter det hårde arbejde - har siden begyndelsen af juni boet i De Schorre, uden for de kendte vandreruter og skjult i naturen. En af kæmperne skærer figurer ud af en totempæl, mens en af hans store venner henter vand, og en anden laver et halskæde. En anden er i gang med at samle sten, og et par trolde hviler på græsset og kigger efter mystiske skyfigurer i luften.
