Wildermolen blev placeret på dette sted i 1802, men stammer faktisk fra Elingen.
Denne mølle er en "stækmølle", hvor hele konstruktionen drejer omkring en 'central stak'.
I 1993 blev Wildermolen gjort helt operationel af mølleren Roland Wieme.
Det var den daværende møller Adriaan D'Hauwer, der købte møllen i 1801. Møllen har været et klassificeret monument siden 1973 og tilhører byen Ninove.
