Blanc Pain-slusen er en sikkerhedsbarriere. Den ligger fem kilometer øst for slusehejsen og 2,5 kilometer fra kanalbroen. I tilfælde af en flugt mod vest for slusen lukker slusen, hvilket stopper vandforsyningen og begrænser skaderne. Den blev bygget mellem 2001 og 2003.
Vagtdøren til Blanc Pain, opkaldt efter det nærliggende kvarter.
Slusen har en bredde på 34,4 meter og en højde på 6,4 meter og vejer 160 ton.
