Beliggende i Surb-flodens dal har Schneisingen et areal, pr. 2009, på 8,25 kvadratkilometer. Af dette areal er 4,08 km2 eller 49,5% anvendt til landbrugsformål, mens 3,43 km2 eller 41,6% er skovdækket. Af resten af jorden er 0,77 km2 eller 9,3% bebygget.
Af det bebyggede område udgjorde boliger og bygninger 5,2%, og transportinfrastruktur udgjorde 2,5%. Af det skovdækkede land er 40,4% af det samlede areal kraftigt skovdækket, og 1,2% er dækket med frugttræer eller små klynger af træer. Af landbrugsjorden bruges 38,4% til at dyrke afgrøder, og 9,2% er græsmarker, mens 1,8% bruges til frugtplantager eller vinstokke.
