Slaget ved Octodurus fandt sted om vinteren 57–56 f.Kr. i den galliske by Octodurus i det, der nu er Martigny, Valais, Schweiz. Slaget var resultatet af et romersk forsøg på at åbne den store St. Bernard-pas over Alperne. Det var en romersk sejr, men voldsomheden i kampene sluttede med, at den romerske legion trak sig tilbage fra Alperne.
Da Cæsar var i Gallien sendte han Servius Galba med den tolvte legion og nogle kavalerister til Gallia Transalpina, ind i landet Nantuates, Veragri og Seduni.
Hans formål med at sende denne styrke var at beskytte Poeninus-passet over Alperne. Romerske købmænd kunne rejse over passet, men blev nogle gange angrebet og blev tvunget til at betale afgifter til bjergstammerne.
