FASER er planlagt til at være et af de otte partikel fysik eksperimenter i 2022 ved Large Hadron Collider ved CERN. Det er designet til både at søge efter nye lette og svagt koplede elementarpartikler og til at undersøge interaktionerne af højenergi neutrinoer. Eksperimentet er installeret i servicetunnelen TI12, som er 480 m downstream fra interaktionspunktet, der bruges af ATLAS eksperimentet. Denne tunnel blev tidligere brugt til at injicere strålen fra SPS ind i LEP acceleratoren. På dette sted er FASER eksperimentet placeret i en intensiv og højt kollimeret stråle af både neutrinoer samt mulige nye partikler. Desuden er det beskyttet mod ATLAS af cirka 100 meter klippe og beton, hvilket giver et lavt baggrundsmiljø. FASER eksperimentet blev godkendt i 2019 og vil begynde at indsamle data under Run 3 af LHC, der starter i 2022.
