Aschau im Chiemgau er en kommune i den øverste bayerske Landkreis Rosenheim med de to hovedbynavne Aschau og Sachrang. Byens turistområde dominere af den 1669 meter høje Kampenwand og den midt i Priental beliggende Slot Hohenaschau fra det 12. århundrede.
Kommunen ligger ca. 23 km sydøst for Rosenheim, tolv kilometer syd for Prien am Chiemsee, 32 km sydvest for Traunstein og 28 km nord for Kufstein, hvor grænsen til Østrig ligger kun 13 kilometer fra byens midte. Aschau er endepunkt for Chiemgaubahn fra Prien am Chiemsee, desuden ligger der i bydelen Hohenaschau dalstationen til Kampenwandbahn.
