Sydlohn kommune ligger i den vestlige del af Münsterland i nordvestlige del af delstaten Nordrhein-Westfalen og er en kommune, der hører til Borken-kredsen i regeringsområdet Münster. I 2006 fejrede Sydlohn kommune sammen med den katolske menighed St. Vitus sit 775-års jubilæum. Rådhuset ligger i bydelen Oeding.
