Borkwalde er ligesom sin nabokommun Borkheide en skovkommune i Landkreis Potsdam-Mittelmark i Brandenburg. Den administreres af Amt Brück og er den yngste by i dette amt.
Stedet ligger i området af den geologiske højderyg Zauche, sydvest for den Berliner Ring mellem Beelitz og Kloster Lehnin. I vest og syd er Borkwalde omgivet af Lehnin’s militærøvelsesplads og i øst af et 100 hektar stort "forebyggelsessted for store kommercielle-industrielle projekter".
