Dürbheim ligger ved fodens af Schwäbische Alb i 677 til 973 m o.h.h., cirka ni kilometer nord for delbyens Tuttlingen. Mod øst er den omgivet af skovene på Albtraufs, og nybyggede områder strækker sig halvcirkelformet omkring den ældre bykerne i den industrialiserede kommune. Den lille by Risiberg på Albhochflächen tilhører allerede det store Heuberg. Kommunen ligger på den Europæiske hovedvandskel mellem Rhinen og Donau. Her ligger kilden til Faulenbach, der flyder over Elta ind i Donau; lidt mere end en kilometer nord for springer Prim ud, der munder ud i Neckar i Rottweil.
