Gotthun er en kommune i Landkreis Mecklenburgische Seenplatte i Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Den ledes af Amt Röbel-Müritz med sæde i byen Röbel/Müritz.
Kommunen Gotthun ligger i den Mecklenburgiske Seenplatte, lige ved vestbredden af Müritz. Område danner en halvø, der afgrænses af Sietower Bugt ved udløbet af Kellerbach og Müritzbucht Binnensee. Fra udsigtspunktet ved bredden nordøst for Gotthun har man udsigt over to tredjedele af den største indsø i Tyskland. Byen Röbel/Müritz ligger ca. tre kilometer væk.
