Salzhausen er en kommune i Harburg kommune i Niedersachsen og tilhører Metropolregion Hamburg.
Salzhausen ligger ved nordøstgrænsen af Lüneburger Heide naturreservat og i den sydøstlige del af Harburg kommune ved grænsen til Lüneburg kommune. Stedet ligger i den istidspåvirkede morænelandskab, Hohen Geest. Gennem stedet går den tyske ferievej Alpen–Østersø.
