Bahnhof Magdeburg Südost er en station på jernbanelinjen Magdeburg–Leipzig i bydelen Westerhüsen i Magdeburg. Den egentlige stationsbygning, som ikke længere bruges til stationens drift, er beskyttet som et kulturmindesmærke.
Bygningen af jernbanelinjen blev godkendt den 14. februar 1836 af Friedrich Wilhelm III., og den konkrete byggeplan for strækningen blev godkendt den 13. november 1837. Strækningen blev opdelt i 12 byggesektioner. Westerhüsen tilhørte 2. byggesektion Buckau-Schönebeck. Den faktiske byggearbejde i Westerhüsen begyndte den 24. april 1838. Bygningsteamet bestod af 1 ingeniør, 3 tilsynsmænd samt 150 til 320 anlægsarbejdere. Allerede i slutningen af august 1838 var jernbanebroen på Sohlener Straße samt jernbaneovergangen ved den gamle Westerhüsener kirkegård i vid udstrækning færdigbygget. Jernbanebroen var lavet af træ og indrammet med hver sin træplanke. Ejerne af de grunde, som sporlinjen gik over, blev kompenseret. Således modtog vindmøllejeren Grabau 600 taler, da jernbanelinjen skar ind til adgangen til hans vindmølle.
