Haltepunktet Essen-Frohnhausen er en holdeplads for S-Bahn Rhein-Ruhr ved grænsen mellem de tyske bydele Frohnhausen og Altendorf langs ruten Mülheim–Dortmund.
S-Bahn-holdepladsen Essen-Frohnhausen blev bygget i forbindelse med opførelsen af S-Bahn Rhein-Ruhr i 1974. I den forbindelse blev strækningen, der blev betjent af godstrafik, udvidet. Siden 1974 har den været betjent af linje S1, som først kører mellem Bochum og Duisburg-Großenbaum, samt linje S3 mellem Oberhausen og Hattingen. I umiddelbar nærhed lå svømmehallen Oase.
