Herzog Anton Ulrich-Museum, som det hedder siden 1927, blev åbnet i 1754 i Braunschweig. I sin over 250-årige historie har det udviklet sig til et af de største og mest betydningsfulde kunstmuseer i Tyskland og et af de vigtigste museer for gammel kunst i Forbundsrepublikken Tyskland. Det er opkaldt efter sin grundlægger, Anton Ulrich, hertug af Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel. Det viser cirka 4.000 kunstværker fra 3.000 års kunsthistorie.
I 2010 blev det udvidet med en ny bygning. Det historiske hovedhus blev renoveret fra bunden og genåbnet den 23. oktober 2016 efter syv års byggeri.
