Her ligger den østatligste punkt i Nordrind-Westfalen i flodens midte ved Weser ved 51° 51′ 27,1″ N, 9° 27′ 40,6″ Ø. Østpunktet for landet markeres med en stenstela cirka 100 m syd for det faktiske punkt ved 51° 51′ 2,9″ N, 9° 27′ 5,3″ Ø. Samtidig er Stahle den nordligste by i den østvestfalske by Höxter i Weserbergland. Stahle er forbundet med to broer til den nedersaksiske by Holzminden, der ligger på den modsatte side af Weser.
